In 1976, at the age of 14 years old Al began spinning records for fun and to get away from the parents. Al started playing at local house parties and other parties in Chicago. In 1980 Al started working the club seen, for Oliver's in Des Plaines, IL. After 5 years in the DJ booth Al was promoted to program director for the Oliver's chain and helped with hiring DJ's and music programming for 3 Oliver's clubs. In 1987 Al moved on to help open Surprises in palatine , IL. Al handled all radio advertising and booking entertainment artists such as the Cover Girls, Paul Lekakis, Company B, Divine and De Barge. In the early 1990s Al started DJing record release parties for RCA, W/B and others. Al's skill's proved to be ground breakers for Nancy Martinez, JM Silk and Ta Mara & The Seen, Janet Jackson and many others. In 1991, Al formed Mixit Entertainment here in Chicago. That year Al found himself utilizing his mixing skills for special events with Jerry Springer, and other events In Chicagoland. In May of 1997 Al also became part of the cyberradio2000.com mix team which was heard on 92.7 fm and on WCKG 105.9 fm here in Chicago. Al has been in high demand all throughout the Chicagoland area for over 20 years. From the local party scene to the biggest events and clubs in the city, Al's been there, done that, and is still doing it today.  Al performs at weddings, corporate parties, school dances, radio parties, record release parties and just about any type of event you are planning.
