Mixit Entertainment is located in the Chicago metro area in business since 1991, We specialize in custom Disc Jockey entertainment for weddings, proms, school dances, corporate functions, and more! We are committed to high quality entertainment and great music. Can we see you perform? Sorry! because all of our performances are private functions (i.e., wedding receptions, corporate events, etc.} For example Your style is different from the last client we worked with. Some clients want hard rock, some want jazz, some want disco, an so on. I think you get the idea. We also don't think you would like a stranger to come to your event. We are performing for you! We are not there to sell more events. The best thing for you to do is set up a time to meet with us to talk about your wedding or event. We then will show you letters from pass clients and take time with you in planning a tailor-made event. This is your event! We give you exactly what you want! This is why we are unable to invite you to see us perform. We hope you understand why we do this. Al Mooshay Owner of Mixit Entertainment.

Can we meet with the actual DJ before booking? Sure you can meet with the DJ before you book with us! We, too, have heard horror stories from people who went to see a DJ they liked and then got a completely different and horrible DJ at their event. Fortunately, all of Mixit Entertainment DJ's are dedicated professionals with a minimum of 5 years experience we have been in business since 1991 we want to continue being in business for a long time to come. So you never have to worry about getting someone else, that is not good business. We want you to be happy from start to finish. We also would like you to refer us to you family and friends.

Do you require a deposit and when is the final payment due? We require a deposit and signed contract to reserve your date. You can make a deposit online and download our contract and send it to us. Or you can call us to make a deposit by phone or check . The final payment of the remaining balance is due at least 10 days prior to your event date. We will gladly accept your credit card personal check, certified check, cashier's check, or money order. You can also pay on the date of your event in cash prior to the scheduled start time. However paying the remaining balance 10 days before your date works best since it will give you the freedom to relax and enjoy your event!

When should we book?  The sooner the better! Some of the most popular dates can and do book as early as one year to two years in advance. We suggest to be prepared to book a DJ as early as 8-12 months before. Depending on availability some dates remain open until the month before. So if you're planning an event in the next few months you should check our availability online.  If you're just starting your planning, try to make your final decision as soon as possible to ensure our availability.

Are your rates negotiable? Our rates are based on our cost of doing business as well as the value we place on each event. We take all events seriously and attend to each in a professional manner. We're not the cheapest around.  We're certainly not the most expensive. But when you consider what  you get for the money; the talent, the experience, the quality, the reliability, the extras we throw in, you quickly see the high value you get. You get a lot for your money! We're confident you will find our prices to be very competitive. If our prices are a bit more than you planned on spending, please remember the old saying "you get what you pay for." When you book Mixit Entertainment services you're not only paying for great entertainment services, you're paying for peace of mind.
